Benefit Blush
A product that I have been using non-stop lately is the Benefit Cosmetics Bella Bamba blush. This blush has just the right amount of shimmer without making you look shiny, and it doubles as a highlighter for your cheeks. It has a corally colored base to it, which works with most skin tones and also makes you look more awake. It is also easy to apply but a little goes a long way, and blending is always necessary!
One of my favorite hair care brands right now is Not Your Mother's. This company does not test on animals (of course) and has amazing products. The product shown above is the shampoo that I am using currently, and it has worked great. It strengthens the hair at the root so it doesn't break off as easy and it makes it more prone to grow more efficiently. I definitely recommend it to all hair types.
The Problem With Makeup Companies
I think more attention needs to be brought to the fact that more companies than not are still testing their products on animals, even in this day in age. The problem is is that by testing them another way it would cost them more money. You would think multi-million dollar companies can afford this, but hey. It's also the issue of that most of the extremely successful makeup companies are testing on animals, which causes more companies to follow in their footsteps. It's sick that the power of money can have the effect on people to make them cruel to animals. It is disgusting.
My Favorite E.L.F Products
Although ELF products are a cheap price, that does not mean that they are bad quality! It all depends on the product that you buy, so here are a few of my favorites:
1.) All of their makeup brushes. The brushes are all soft and blend with the skin very well, and are surprisingly good quality for the price. They range from $1-$3.
2.) The lip exfoliator. This is perfect for winter when your lips get chapped, because it carefully removes all the dead skin cells and leaves your lips looking and feeling softer. $3.
3.) Tinted moisturizer. This is perfect for days when you want a light coverage for foundation or if you are in a rush, because you can rub it on your skin like moisturizer and it naturally covers up without making your skin oily. $3.
